“If you want expert mechanics that are TOTALLY honest, then this is the place for you. I've gone there many times over the years. Twice the estimate was for several hundred dollars and, in the end, they only charged me well under $100 because, when they got into it, they found it was only a minor repair instead of the major. I KNOW they don't charge you any more than what the repair is worth. That is a huge comfort in this day and age. Also, they fix it the first time and I never had to come back because it wasn't fixed.”

We bought the part from a store down the road thinking we would fix it. “Friendly & quick. Now have a reliable shop to depend on! 1st time in 15 yrs. My neighbor has several cars (big family w/ @ least 6 cars/trucks). He works on most himself. I had a list of issues w/ truck & asked who he goes to when can't/doesn't do it himself. 1st & only suggestion = Maynard's. I called set an appointment, brought it in. I had decided to wait instead on dropping it off. They squeezed me in to the top of the list. Took 1/2 the time quoted! Constant updates as I waited. Cost me 1/3 of what I expected. Maynard himself is a working owner/manager. There doing the work w/ his team. That shows love & dedication to the work & business. A+”

“I've always been weary of mechanics due to a few experiences I've had in the past with unscrupulous mechanics. I took my car to two other places (one down the street and a Meineke, both with great Google reviews). Both misdiagnosed my car and encouraged unnecessary work including a new muffler. Fortunately I went to a muffler shop who said it wasn't the muffler and referred me to Maynard's. I'm glad he did as Chuck was able to quickly diagnose my car and fix the issues for a reasonable price. I felt the staff here were honest and fair in their dealings, a rare quality these days. You've earned my loyalty and can expect me back. Thanks guys.”

They have replaced starters, waterpumps, belts, misc. smog parts, etc and never try to 'Upsell' you on things that are not needed. They may recommend items when they see there may be trouble down the road but it is welcomed advice.”

I am more than happy to write this and say I have found my car repair place for life. They have 2 additional mechanics in addition to Maynard, and i trust them all. This place came highly recommended by a friend's Dad. As is always the case, a review is based on your own experience, and I was more than satisfied.
I had some serious issues with sensors going out, and not sure what to do. I have a Ford Taurus SHO and it is very tricky to do work on because of the engine. I was prepared to lose my car, but Maynard came through. I had to be hospitalized for a few months after dropping off my car. Maynard kept my car the whole time and kept working on the issues until they were resolved. Most places would have charged thousands for so much labor. My bill was more than fair considering.
I highly recommend this place. It's very difficult to find a repair service worthy of 5 stars, let alone a reputation that deserves it. Maynard and his mechanics are the most straight up, honest, and affordable I've had the pleasure to leave my car with. I will be a long time customer.”
“We exclusively use Maynard's Auto for ALL car repairs as well as troubleshooting. They NEVER gouge us with more than the cost of the repair. They will recommend repairs that will make your car run better--but if it's not affordable at the time or you just can't do it right then, they understand and NEVER pressure you or play the 'get you to buy more than you need' game. I can't say enough good about Mitch and Maynard. Honesty, Integrity, and auto repair expertise at its best!!!”
